Following on from being named Peugeot Accessory Dealer of the Year just month previous this title was awarded to our aftersales department as recognition for their dedication to offering unbeatable value for money, top quality customer service and success in the face of rising competition from across the aftersales sector. It was presented at the annual SIMI Irish Motor Industry Awards at the Clayton Hotel, Dublin which was attended by over 700 senior Motor Industry figures from across the country. This was an unexpected win to say the least, we were shocked at even been shortlisted for this award.
We have won the SIMI Independent Car Dealer of the Year in both 2013 and 2016 but this was our first year as a franchised dealer, facing tough competition from long established franchised dealers. These awards are the pinnacle annual event within the motor industry and for our names to be called out over long-established franchised dealers came as a shock. The award pays tribute to the hard work of all our team and gives affirmation to the application of forward thinking and innovativeness within the business.
Customers are at the heart of every decision we make and we were delighted to be acknowledged for this.

We were awarded the title of Peugeot Accessory Dealer of the Year 2018 in recognition of our excellent Accessory sales performance within 2018. The presentation was made at the annual Peugeot Aftersales Conference at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Athlone, attended by 70 Parts and Service Managers from around the country.
We achieved the highest accessory sales per vehicle in the PEUGEOT Dealer Network during 2018 an amazing achievement considering we had only been a Peugeot Franchise for little more than a year.
Having won this award back in 2014, it was a real thrill and affirmation to our continued progress to go on and win this award once again. The video’s submitted for this award were Laura’s 5008 Review, Adhoc Del Boy Wedding video & Peugeot 3008 GT Line Review videos.
The presentation of the award was made in RDS, Dublin where we bet of stiff competition from big names such as M50 Concession Limited, The Hook, Tour America, Mondello Park, CMRF Crumlin, Lovin Media Group & SuperValu Ireland. This was an unexpected win to say the least, we were shocked at even been shortlisted for this award.
This award acknowledges our creative thinking and use of video within our marketing campaigns.
This award was for companies that ‘broaden their focus beyond making a profit and into benefiting the wider area as a whole’.
We were delight to be shortlisted for this award, recognition of the many local sponsorships we were involved in during 2018. As myself and Mark along with many of our team members are avid cyclists, cycling events are where we tend to focus the majority of our sponsorship budget. In 2018 we sponsored the National Cycling Championships, Innisfree Wheelers 3 Counties Tour, Leitrim Glenns Sportive & Ballisodare Bay Cycling Club.
We also showed our support within the local community with smaller sponsorship activities such as Strandhill Golf Club, Sligo Races etc.
For this award we were competing against Fdormat.ie and SL Controls with SL Controls ultimately going on to win this category due to their Live Well at SL and Think Well at SL Programmes.
Even though we didn’t win this one it was still nice to be recognised for the work we do in our local community.

Winning this award two years in a row is an amazing achievement considering the number of companies which ActionCOACH works with. It was awarded as recognition of our rapid expansion across all areas of the business. In recent months we recruited 10 new staff members, more than doubling our staff numbers.
Our second national car dealer of the year award! While putting complete focus and energy into making our business run well all year we were also expanding. At the same time we were excelling in our customer service scores. Our staff levels had risen over the previous year from 3 staff members to 14. We had purchased a site for our long term future, things were starting to take shape including our salesman turned business owner Mark. He took the reigns on the award application and put a new winning dimension to the piece. A proud award for us and one which Mark & Irene should be proud considering all the hard work they put in.
Running a business is difficult and being your own boss might sound great but it can be a lonely position when things are not going your way. I use actionCOACH to give me direction, bounce ideas off and give me someone to answer to. It has worked well and the business has excelled since I started with them. I got this award for having the best retail performance over 2015, considering the list of quality companies & business owners they deal with this award was quite an achievement to receive.

This is probably my favourite award to pick up. It was for use of video in social media, our cartoon video "Our Story so far" to this day still gets great compliments and well it should, it was very well put together. We received this Sockie award in the Bord Gais theater from Rick O Shea at a glamorous event ceremony. What makes it special was the host of businesses we were nominated against , Cadburys, Nurofen & Done Deal to name a few. Winning SIMI awards acknowledges our strides forward in the motor industry, but this shows we're doing other things right too.

In 2012 we were runners up in this category but we wanted to go one better for 2013 and we succeeded. Our name was called out in the Huge Burlington Hotel function room as the Independent car dealer of the year for 2013. The Judges praised & recognized us for "Our entrepreneurial instinct, stubborn optimism and diversity of skills, from customer service to financial management." Despite many obstacles we continue to drive the motor Industry forward.
