Nissan is giving its biggest SUV a bold and chunkier new look with angular styling that partly inspired by the latest Juke & Qashqai. Narrow headlight units with daytime running lights for the first time, along with a V-motion grille. The rear is similar to the old model, but the lights take on a shallow, more angular shape.
The new X-trail will be available with a third row of seats, offering 7 seats for those larger families. The cabin will feature more advanced kit, including introduction of more driver assistance systems.
We expect the 7 seat X-trail will come with plenty of hi-tech features, like Nissan Pro-Pilot driver assistance. Combining adaptive cruise control, stop-and-go functionality and lane assist. In terms of connectivity, the New X-trail will likely come with Android Auto and Apple Car Play.
The 2022 X-trail will be built on the same self-charging hybrid engine platform that underpins the All-New Qashqai which arrived this year. It's 1.5 litre turbo-charged engine charges the compact battery which drives the electric motor to produce a total of 184BHP and 330Nm of torque, Can't wait to give it a try :-)
